The One Group Process
1. Agent Introduction
You first meet with an agent to discuss what exactly you are looking for, whether its a first time home, investment property, or second home. The agent will set up a game plan and put together a list of reliable experts like mortgage brokers and financial advisors.
2. Lender Introduction
You will get set up with a mortgage broker so they can make an assessment of your financial situation and determine what your budget is.
3. Offers & Negotiations
This is the fun part! You go to open houses and private showings. This allows you to picture yourself in the home and see if that property fits for you! Once you find a property you like, your agent will write up a competitive offer. We get creative and figure out what the home seller wants/needs and how we can make the offer stand out.
4. Escrow
Once your offer is accepted, the home goes into escrow. Your realtor will take charge of the process and keep everything moving smoothly. The property will get inspected so that you are assured that what you are buying is what is expected.
5. Close
Once we close escrow, the funds are transferred and you get the keys to your new home! Your realtor will be with you to take photos of the special occasion. But our job doesn't stop there. It is important that you have what you need to make your new house a home. And your agent can be a great resource to suggest contractors, improvements, movers, or anything else you might need!
